MAC Debuts Lorde Ad

The brand debuts the campaign's first visuals.

Charles Howells shot the visuals for Lorde’s upcoming campaign with MAC Cosmetics, set to debut June 5th. (FYI: Lorde’s real name is Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor.)

The 17-year-old singer from New Zealand is wearing MAC products in the photo – lipstick in “Pure Heroine,” a deep plum – named after her album; and the deep back Penultimate Eye Liner, called “Rapidblack.”

The lipstick will retail for $16, the Eye Liner for $19.50.

The line will debut online, as well as at MAC’s Times Square and Fifth Avenue locations – before launching in Paris at MAC’s Champs-Élysées store in July.
